Week 28

Well, not much has happen, since last Thursday!  But I will try to tell you y'all something!

Ok so the other day when we were emailing my comp saw that there was a word wide mission conference! And wow it was a big one, they (the Prophet and his apostles) are changing a ton of things I am not quit sure what they all are right now because we are having a zone conference tomorrow about it and a member of the quorum of the 70 is coming to give it.  I am very exited for it! But I will tell you more about it next week when I have more deals! 

We had a pretty good Sunday was fun it was our first real Sunday since the week before Christmas, it feels like, because we had Christmas with 2 and 3 wards, and then ward conference, and then stake conference, so it was nice to be able to see the regular people at church once again! But anyway life is good the Gospel is the only way, even if you don't want it to be!

Week 27

WOW I cannot believe that it has been 6 months since I have left Bellingham! It feels like 20 years sometimes, other times it feels like 1 month! But so far I am loving almost every minute of it down here! This past week was crazy, and sorry for such late email, I did not get a chance to get to the library until today! But I didn't not think that my Birthday would be that fun out here on a mission, because I was not up skiing and I did not get to have fun in the snow like I do every year on my birthday! But wow I had a ton of fun here in LA, so that morning we got to go email everyone, then after that Elder Brown was a real good friend and bought me lunch, we went to Panda Express my favorite! After that, we all went to lulu-lemon, because I also love it there too! Then we hung out for a bit longer, and then we went to a part member house for my birthday dinner, and holy cow that was a blast, we had Gatau AL Cream which is my favorite, and then fisher cooked all of us his jambalaya and wow that was the best! 
The rest of the week went like is should, we had stake conference this past Sunday and it was really cool, there were some very cool stories told on how the Lord works through you to get to someone else and how we are a tool in his hands and how to just trust in the  Lord because He know all things! Today we had transfers and me and Elder Floyd are going at it again, and Elder Brown is out :(, I lost my work out buddy! But I know it is because the Lord wants it to be this way! Anyway love y'all have a good week.

Week 26

Alright, so this week was very crazy! I got to go with Elder Fisher, to his ward coordination, where we split off and I went with Elder Jarvis, to go see one of his investigators, and wow that was way cool. We taught him the plan of salvation, and I love teaching that lesson, because it applies so much to our day right now! Then later in the week we got a call from a less active, and she needed us to come over and give her brother a blessing, and wow that as such a cool experience, it brought tears to my eyes! Then we had ward conference this week and it was all about he family and how we need to strengthen the family! It was a good week, I know that the Lord loves each and everyone of us! And he really is with us everyday at every moment!

Week 25

This week was crazy! First off it tried to snow down here in Baton Rouge WOW!!!! I wish it had so bad!

But one thing that dawned on me was the effect of missionary work. We see this recent convert every  Wednesday and Saturday. He is an awesome person, he got Baptized almost a year ago, and he is working on getting his patriarchal blessing this upcoming week! And he is just so happy every time I see him. I know that he changed his life for the better because the Gospel of Jesus Christ made it possible for him to fix his life and to come closer to our Heavenly Father! Anyway I love you all so much and I hope for the best for y'all and have a good week!

Week 24

This week something hit me really hard, people that grew up in the church, they go to Sunday School, Seminary, and live the good or higher life. Then when they are older or when they are making choices for themselves, they choose not to live that life anymore or they slip out of it! That drives me insane and it brakes my heart! Because YOU know the the TRUTH! You lived it and you were blessed for it! But you never saw the blessing! So my challenge for you a'll is to look for the blessings in your life today!

Anyway this pass week was out of this world we got to go ice skating Monday and wow that was the best I would have never thought that I would see ice! We had a killer district meeting Tuesday, not sure what we did Wednesday, or Thursday!  Friday we sat around because it was raining a ton and one of the elders was not feeling good so we chilled with him! Then Saturday (New Year's Eve) we did an insane work out! WE DID 2017 PUSH UP'S! yep it took 3 1/2 hours! What we did was do 12 then rest for 50 sec then do 12 more and so on and so forth. and wow I was literally dying! Then Sunday was a blast just regular church then diner at a part member home! But life is good!
